The Fashion Industry rakes in billions of dollars every year through the sale of commercial products, clothing, perfumes and fragrances all the way down to the marketing avenues that are traveled in regards to proper promotion of these types of products. Anyone who is an avid shopper and has been out searching for a bargain has come across "knock-off" products that are usually found in major cities or discount markets all across the country. These usually are in the form of sunglasses, bags and even clothing, they usually very closely resemble the original item with a few key differences in appearance, texture or product logo.
Unfortunately the fragrance industry has fallen victim to the same concerns that have grown substantially over the past several years, by individuals who are looking to make a quick buck at the expense of others using fatal ingredients. What consumers do not know is beneath the replicated packaging and huge discounted prices; they could be purchasing a fragrance that could be harmful or even fatal to their body and/or likeness. Many of these items include traces of urine, anti-freeze and even small amounts of lead. When purchasing a fragrance, it is beneficial to deal with a company who has a very strict policy in dealing with authentic merchandise. Through our research, 99Perfume is one of the few companies that have a no tolerance policy against counterfeits and knock-off fragrances. They not only carry the largest variety of designers fragrances but also hard to find and discontinued fragrances at up to 50% off of retail values. They firmly stand behind their commitment to their customers by offering quality fragrances with exceptional deals and customer service.
When shopping for a perfume, cologne or fragrance there are several key elements that will be distinct when recognizing a knock-off from the original product:
Packaging: In many cases the packaging from a reputable supplier and/or fragrance production warehouse will ship the perfume in its original box with a cellophane wrapper that was received by them directly from the manufacturer. The UPC barcode will always be located on the bottom of the package and never on the top or sides of the box; this will be a tall tale sign that the perfume or fragrance that you purchased could very well be a fake.
Smell: Whenever shopping for your replacement fragrance, always bring the old container with you to compare the smell of the finished perfume with the new one. Many knock off fragrances will have a hint of change to the original scent, having a manufactured note such as alcohol or pungent aroma that would not be found in a legitimate fragrance purchased from a reputable store.
Appearance: Take note of any and all small details that are on the original packaging if you do still have it, as well as the bottle and container itself. This will help you notice any change in the fragrance you are about to purchase. The bottle size as well as the shape and color of the bottle should all be the same likeness in every way. Most designers will never change the packaging of their perfumes for any reason, so do not fall victim by a company and/or business telling you the packaging changed due to whatever reason they deem necessary.
When applying the tips listed above, it will help ensure a great shopping experience when purchasing authentic designer perfumes at discounted prices.
Many consumers have turned to the internet to make their future purchases for the ease of simply clicking and having it sent directly to their house, as well as the opportunity to take advantage of some of the bigger discounts that could be found online when purchasing your favorite fragrance or perfume. Backed by their 100% guaranteed original, brand name, sealed perfumes, 99perfume is a great place to shop when looking for great deals on your favorite perfume or hard to find fragrances.
